Chemical Weapons

Chemical/Biological Rapid Response Team (C/B-RRT)

 In 1996, Congress passed Public Law 104-201 directing the Department of Defense to set up the Domestic Preparedness program. This program is designed to enhance the capability of the federal government to prevent or respond to terrorist incidents involving weapons of mass destruction and to provide support for improving state and local emergency response capabilities for nuclear, chemical and biological threats and consequences.
