Note: Australia is broken up into states and territory and each state or territory has a team. The last one the Special Operations Team of the Australian Capital Territory or ACT is the national police team. It is interesting to note that it has Commonwealth powers. In others worlds if you are breaking a commonwealth law the Special Operations Team can get you anywhere in Australia such as trying to import drugs. The Team is like the FBI Hostage Rescue Team. Except it enforces law only like the FBI. The SASR would rescue hostages.
