1.
(TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
a.
Two teams were launched during this reporting
period. One
of these teams remained in the vicinity of the target
area. The
launch of three teams scheduled during this reporting
period was postponed due to weather.
b.
This report contains the final summary of
one RT mission conducted during the period 22-28
Jul 67.
2.
(TS) OPERATION SUMMARY:
a.
The launch of reconnaissance teams on targets
LIMA-50, MIKE-50, and OSCAR-50 was postponed due
to weather.
B.
RT
LEVEL landed in the vicinity of target ROMEO-50
in SVN on 300719Z Jul 67 at YA556638.
On 31 Jul the RT found three bivouac areas
under construction at YA553646, YA549643, and YA547464.
Two Vietnamese team members became sick and
the RT was extracted from RVN on 310936Z at YA556638.
RT LEVEL did not enter Cambodia during this
operation.
c.
RT PICK was landed in the vicinity of target
HOTEL-50 in RVN on 040833Z Aug 67 at YA615084.
The RT remains in the vicinity of the target. A summary of the mission will be included in a subsequent report.
3.
(TS) RT SQUARE was landed in the vicinity
of SIERRA-50 in RVN on 240725Z Jul 67 at YA575525. The RT found an abandoned way station at YA553535.
A recently used anti-aircraft gun position
was found at YA557556.
The RT observed an enemy platoon moving across
an open field at YA547537.
No enemy contact was made with the enemy.
The RT was extracted from RVN at YA562556
on 181005Z Jul 67.

1. (TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
Three
RT missions were conducted during the reporting
period only one RT entered Cambodia.
One RT was extracted under fire during the
reporting period.
2. (TS) Operation Summary:
a.
RT SQUARE was landed in RVN in the vicinity
of target FORM-50 at YB739132 on 100725Z Aug 67. As the RT exited the helicopter they received automatic weapons
fire from approximately ...meters north of the Landing
Zone (LZ).
Armed helicopter placed suppressive fire
on the enemy position and the RT moved approximately
25 meters to the south of the LZ to take cover.
The RT was receiving fire from the north
and heard movement west of their position.
Pick-up was requested and during the extraction,
the helicopter was fired on but no hits were sustained.
The RT was extracted from YB739132 in RVN
on 130804Z Aug 67.
There were two TAC air sorties and four helicopter
gunship sorties in support of this operation with
unknown results.
b.
RT LEVEL was landed in RVN in the vicinity
of target YANKEE-50 at YA585489 on 140445Z Aug 67. The RT members hear rifle shots 800 meters SW from YA572491.
The RT found several (10-15) empty old tarnished
20mm shell casings at YA564477.
Those shell casings had a double primer cap
similar to home-loaded rounds.
The following day three team members developed
flu symptoms.
As a result the team was extracted from RVN
at YA574493 on 150923Z Aug 7.
There were two TAC air sorties in support
of this operation with unknown results.
c.
RT HAMMER landed in RVN in the vicinity of
target X-RAY-50 at YA632494 on 160740Z Aug 67.
The RT moved southwest to YA6356486.
On 17 Aug the RT attempted to cross a small
river along the RFG/RVN border but was unsuccessful
in finding a suitable crossing site.
The RT failed to reach the target area and
was extracted from YA635487 in RVN on 180543Z Aug
67.

1.
(TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
One RT mission was conducted during the reporting period; however, it
did not enter Cambodia.
The launch of one RT was postponed indefinitely
because of a reported ICC visit near the target
in the Se San are of Cambodia.
2.
(TS) Operation Summary:
a. RT MANE landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target ZULU- ?? at YA599491 on
2309..Z Aug 67.
The following morning the RT moved to YA594489
where they ... .... nine bunkers. On 230300Z Aug
67, the RT observed an abandoned camp site at YA597...
This camp site was four to six months old
and could accommodate approximately 50 people.
On 230900Z Aug 67, at YA588482, voices of
approximately seven personnel were heard. The language spoken could not be identified, however, several
Montagnards were talking in a separate conversation
within the same group.
This group, estimated to be a total of 15
personnel, moved to within 20 meters of the RT..at
the same time two VC/NVA were armed with AK-47 rifles
and dressed in light blue uniforms.
Shortly after spotting the VC/NVA, three
single rifle shots were heard followed by single
shots heard from four different locations.
Yelling could be heard from the direction
of the four shots.
The US RT leader directed an air strike on
the enemy locations, withdrew to the north and was
extracted from RVN at YA588485 on 231222Z Aug 67.
There were two TAC air sorties flown in support
of this operation with unknown results.
b. The launch of RT LEVEL
on target WHISKEY-50 was postponed indefinitely.
Notification was received...that the ICC
planned to visit the Se San area in the vicinity
of the target in Cambodia. The purpose of their visit was to conduct an investigation
of alleged rocket sites in the southern portion
of Se San area.
Since target WHISKY-50 is within four kilometers
of the northern edge of the Se San area, launch
of an RT was postponed to preclude detection of
DANIEL BOONE operations by the ICC.

(TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
Two RT missions were conducted during the reporting period.
One RT did not enter Cambodia, the other
landed in RVN and remains in the target area.
The launches of three RT’s were delayed by
weather. One
RT mission was initially delayed and later postponed
indefinitely because of a reported ICC visit near
the target in the Se San Area of Cambodia.

(TS) Operations Summary:
a. RT SAM landed in the vicinity
of target .........-50 at YB-23143 in Laos on 270940Z
Aug 67, Two personnel....... from the RT during....................the
RT.........the RT until the next day.
RT members developed flu symptoms that prevented
them from continuing the mission.
The RT was extracted from insert LZ on 290845Z
Aug 67.
b. RT .......(?) Was landed
in the vicinity of target C-51 in RVN on 010837Z
Sep 67 at YA610800 and remained in the target area.

(TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
Two RT missions were conducted during the reporting period.
Two RT’s were extracted prior to reaching
the objective and prior to entering Cambodia due
to illness/injury of RT members.
The launch of one RT was delayed because
of weather.
This report includes information on one RT
that was launched but not extracted during the previous
reporting period.

(TS) OPERATION SUMMARY:
a. RT BRACE landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target PAPA-50 at YA611823 on
080715Z Sep 67.
The RT moved NW from the LZ, crossed a stream
then continued to YA604829 where they RON. One US team member injured his ankle during the stream crossing.
The RT requested extraction because the injured
US could not continue the mission.
During the time the RT remained in the target
area no enemy activity was observed.
The RT was extracted from RVN at YA607825
on 100826Z Sep 67.
The RT did not enter Cambodia during this
operation.
b. RT PLANE was landed in
RVN in the vicinity of target KILO-50 at YB721004
that had not been used for several days.
On 13 Sep 67, the RT assistant team leader
became sick and the RT requested a normal team extraction.
The RT reported hearing warning shots 300
meters from their position.
The RT was extracted from RVN at YB713008
on 141010Z Sep 67.
c. RT NAIL landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target QUEBEC-50 at YA613742
on 111725Z Sep 67, and remained in the target area.
The RT entered Cambodia.
d. The launch of an RT on
target ROMEO-50 was rescheduled for 18 Sep due to
weather.

1.
(TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
There was one RT mission conducted during the reporting period.
Five insertions planned were delayed due
to weather.
This report includes information on one RT
that was launched but not extracted during the previous
reporting period.
2.
(TS) OPERATIONS SUMMARY:
a. RT NAIL landed in the
vicinity of target QUEBEC-50 at YA613742 on ......
Sep 67. The
RT found a way station vicinity YA571760.
This way station contained 30 two man bunkers
with overhead cover...cooking huts with two burner
cooking emplacements in each hut, 10 to 12 sleeping
platforms and a rice storage hut.
This.........for two to three months.
The team heard talking and found the following
items... vicinity YA547753; one propaganda leaflet;
one container for ointment; two magnets; and 60
rounds of small arms ammunition.
On 16 Sep 67 the RT found three bunkers with
overhead cover, five open foxholes, and one cooking
hut at YA572750.
The team was extracted from SVN at YA603740
on 160900Z Sep 67.
The RT entered Cambodia.
b. RT LEVEL which landed
in RVN in the vicinity of target LIMA-50 at YA705953
on 220803Z Sep 67, remains in the target area.
The RT had not entered Cambodia at the close
of this reporting period.

1.
(TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
There were five RT missions conducted during the reporting period.
Two RT’s remain in the vicinity of the target
area. Four
of the RT’s launched have entered Cambodia.
This report includes information on one RT
that was launched but not extracted during the previous
reporting period.
2.
(TS) Operations Summary:
a. RT LEVEL landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target LIMA-50 at YA705953 on
220800Z Sep 67.
The RT moved northwest 400 meters where it
RON. The
following day the RT continued NW approximately
1000 meters to YA692959.
The RT assistant team leader slipped, injured
his ankle, while crossing a stream.
The RT continued to YA673952 where it RON.
RT contacted the FAC to request medical evacuation
for the injured US RT member on 240000Z Sep 67.
The injured man could not be evacuated from
Cambodia so the RT proceeded to YA667950 where it
was extracted from RVN by McGuire Rig on 240915Z
Sep 67. The
RT reconnoitered target MIKE-50 when they returned
to RVN for extraction.
The RT did enter Cambodia.
b. RT MALLET was inserted
in the vicinity of target WHISKEY-50 in RVN at YA570510
on 240800Z Sep 67.
The team members observed an old way station
at YA564513, five collapsed foxholes at YA545507
and 20 collapsed foxholes at YA542506.
The RT observed a village located at YA544504
and determined that it has not been occupied for
10 to 12 months.
The team then moved to YA565503 where they
were extracted from RVN on 271010Z Sep 67. The RT did enter Cambodia during the conduct of this mission.
c. RT PICK landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target ROMEO-50 at YA557640 on
250400Z Sep 67.
The RT observed an abandoned way station
at YA553646.
The way station consisted of 12-14 buildings.
Some of the structures had the capacity to
accommodate 20 personnel.
There were also 20-30 two man bunkers covered
with bamboo and dirt in the same area.
The way station could accommodate approximately
three company size units. The US assistant RT leader injured his ankle during the insertion
of the RT and was unable to continue the mission. One indigenous team member was suffering from heat exposure.
A decision was made at this time to extract
the RT. The
RT proceeded to YA557640 where it was extracted
from RVN on 261015Z Sep 67. The RT did not enter Cambodia.
d. RT MITER landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target BRAVO-51 at YA559590 on
270410Z Sep 67.
The RT was pursued shortly after landing
but managed to break contact and move to YA559579
where it RON.
The following day, the RT moved to YA56a0580
then continued to YA564584.
The RT made enemy contact at YA570582 and
was extracted from that location on 280820Z Sep
67. The
RT did enter Cambodia during the conduct of this
mission.
e. RT BENCH landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target KILO-50 at YB719049 ON
280925Z and remains in the vicinity of the target
area. The
RT had entered Cambodia at the close of this reporting
period.
f. RT BRACE landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target OSCAR-50 at YA6028668
on 290855Z Sep 67.
The RT had entered Cambodia at the close
of this reporting period.

1.
(TS) HIGHLIGHTS:
There were two RT missions during the reporting period.
One of these RT’s entered Cambodia.
This report includes a summary of two teams
that were launched but not extracted during the
previous reporting period.
2.
(TS) OPERATION
SUMMARY:
a. RT BEKON (SP ?) was landed
in RVN in the vicinity of target KILO-50 at YB719049
on 280900Z Sep 67.
The RT moved SW to YB715--5 where it observed
a bamboo hut in fair condition.
The size of the hut was 10 feet by 20 feet. The RT continued to YB7144040 and they observed a nut in very
good condition.
The site of this hut was six by eight feet.
The RT moved to YB702040 where one US team
member became ill.
The RT moved east to YB713039 and found a
company size way station.
The RT moved to YB714035 and was extracted
from RVN, on 300745Z Sep 67.
The RT entered Cambodia.
b. RT BRACE landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target OSCAR-50 at YA603868 on
290900Z Sep 67.
The RT moved east approximately 25 meters
where it observed a 20-30 man way station in very
poor condition.
The RT moved to YA 603870 and crossed a trail
approximately one meter wide.
The trail was well used with reinforcing
logs lying across the trail in low areas.
The RT moved to YA 603881 and was extracted
from SVN on 030845Z Oct 67.
The RT entered Cambodia.
c. RT NAIL landed in RVN
in the vicinity of SIERRA-50 at YA559510 on 300720Z
Sep 67. The RT was extracted on 050720Z Oct 67 at YA564533.
The RT was extracted prior to completion
of their mission due to several RT members becoming
ill. Details will be contained in the next report.
d. RT AWL was landed in RVN
in the vicinity of target LIMA-50 at YA724995 on
060315Z Oct 67.
The RT made contact on the LZ with an unknown
size enemy force.
A short firefight ensued resulting in two
enemy KIA.
The RT was extracted under emergency conditions
on 060425Z Oct 67.
There were six TAC air sorties flown in support
of the extraction YB724996 on 6 Oct 67 with unknown
results. Details
will be contained in next week report.
