Special Warfare Center conducts at least 24 advanced
courses and has additional classes under development.
Current training includes, but is not limited to:

Technician Course (SOT) which provides corpsmen going
to NSW commands with advanced medical training to
diagnose and operate a Hyperbaric Chamber in the treatment
of dive-related disorders.
A two-week course covering
the use of the MK 16 UBA, the most complex diving
equipment in the Naval Special Warfare inventory.
The SEAL Delivery Vehicle (SDV)
Operator Course is 10 weeks long and conducted three
times a year. It includes instruction on all
SDV systems and Standard Operating Procedures and
is required before students are permitted to dive

technicians to all the SDV electronic systems, giving
them hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
The Diving Supervisor Course
